Hi Ang! I had a cat named Tucker. We pick him up off the street. At the time he was only about 7mths. My mom surprised us by keeping him. We named him Tucker becuase when he slept, he always tucked in his head. Well, one day in October, (we took him in in Sept.)we found out he wouldnt use his litterbox. So we took him to the vet and he had a disease that only 2% of cats get. So we put him in a small room for a while and we would visit him. Well, when my mom broke the news that sad Dec. :4th, I can still remember her exact cold icy words:
Tucker is very sick as you know. He only has a few weeks left. Enjoy your last day with him. I broke into tears. I left for school and i was depressed that whole day. When I got home he was gone. A week later, the vet called and said that Tucker was gone. That day we adopted two new girl cats named Libby Lu and Lucky. They were sisters whose mom had gotten ran over by a car and they were in a box with their three brothers. We adopted them. We had fun with them with our Christmas Tree!:) Then, in January, we found out that they had the same disease as Tucker, and Lucky's insides were messed up. We took them in to the vet and a few days later they passed on. On January 7th, we bought a cat that was in the pound. He was only 6wks old and had an eye defect. He was a black cat. We named him Trooper because we had all been "troopers"through that terrible time.

I adopt abandoned pets that walk by my house. I feed them, give them warmth, and try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Both of my cats are abandoned. Now, they practically won't leave me alone! But, I love animals. They are a big part of my world. I think they should be treated like people. They have feelings, too. Most people don't understand that. Like people throw their pets in the streets and leave them there, they also abuse pets and even kill them. I HATE that!!!!!!! I hope everyone feels the same way that I do. So please, take care of your animals. It'll make you a happier person!
